HOUSE GENERAL GUSTAVO ROJAS PINILLA 

In the southeast corner of the plaza del carmen is the house where former president "General Rojas Pinilla, in one of this visits, the general issued and signed, along with all his ministers, on December 17 of 1957, Decree No. 3841, for which Villa de Leyva declared a national monument. 

HOUSE CONGRESO DE LAS PROVINCIAS UNIDAS

The October 4 of 1812 installed the first congrest of the united provinces of new Granada and  camilo Torres was appointed as Chairman. The house is located in front of the entrance to city hall and runs the tourist office.

 LOS PORTALES

Casa de la primera fábrica de destilaciones del Nuevo Reino de Granada

Casa natal de Ricaurte

SAN AGUSTIN

In the same square of Ricaurte is the former convent of San Agustin that was founded in 1850, today works as Instituto Humboldt.
